Constructed in honor of one of the nation's most extraordinary Olympic athletes, the Wilma Rudolph Statue captures in bronze the woman in full running stride. Rudolph, a Clarksville native, won three Olympic titles at the 1960 games, the 100 and 200 meters and the 4 X 100 meter relay. The statue rests on the southern end of the Cumberland RiverWalk.
