Built in 1858 by wealthy tobacconist Christopher Smith, this unique antebellum mansion reflects the transition between Greek Revival and Italianate styles. Overlooking the Cumberland River, the mansion features a brilliant curved staircase, spacious hallways and a “widow's walk” on the roof. It is located just southeast of Riverview Cemetery.
